Internships at HFH China are a rewarding experience designed for undergraduate and graduate students. HFH China is seeking for an organized and motivated intern to work within our Shanghai team. The intern will play a key role in planning and implementing HFH China’s projects in Shanghai region. The intern will also assist the Communications team in Habitat’s social media execution including creating contents for WeChat and website. The ideal intern has strong writing and communications skills, an interest of nonprofit and the ability to work independently.
The office hour is 10am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. The interns are required to commit a minimum 24 hours of work per week with a minimum internship period of 3 months. Internships at HFH are uncompensated except in cases of transportation to and from the HFH China Shanghai office and lunches while the intern is working at the office. International interns are solely responsible for their housing and visa arrangements while in Shanghai and transportation to and from Shanghai. Habitat for Humanity will cover costs related to in-country program research and management such as research and volunteer trips, etc.
