The Asia-Pacific Housing Forum is a sector-wide conference organized by Habitat for Humanity and partners to bring together housing experts and champions from business, academia, government, civil society and the youth working to find innovative and sustainable housing solutions that address the world’s massive housing needs.
With the theme “Powering collaboration for housing impact,” the Housing Forum aims to harness partnerships to advance housing as a driver of sustainable development.
The Asia-Pacific Housing Forum serves as a platform to amplify why housing matters. It recognizes the potential to create convergence between industry leaders and decision makers while learning from industry best practices and people’s local experiences across urban and rural settings in the region and around the world.
The Forum recognizes collaborative partnerships to strengthen multi-sector policies, market approaches and solutions, and people-centered technologies that can help scale up projects and initiatives that push for affordable and decent housing .
Interesting events at The Forum will include:
Youth in the House!
Like everyone else, the youth have a stake in a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world by 2030. What’s more, you will be part of a global community. The Youth Congress has been declared an Urban Thinkers Campus, an initiative of UN-Habitat that gives a platform for stakeholders to promote sustainable urbanization.
