Resource Development Manager (Shanghai Rep Office)

Habitat for Humanity China (HFH China) is recruiting a Resource Development Manager to join its team in Shanghai.

The Resource Development Manager is responsible for working with the management team in planning and coordinating all aspects of resource development for the organization. She/he is accountable for identifying, cultivating and retaining donor prospects to support the organization meet or exceed its development goals. This is a full-time position with standard HFH China benefits and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Resource Development

  1. Cultivating and maintaining ongoing relationships with key stakeholders including corporations, schools, community groups and other nonprofit organizations;
  2. Researching, writing and editing proposals and programmatic materials for projects and specific resource development opportunities;
  3. Work with HFH China leadership in developing annual resource development plan and strategies, including implementation and budgeting;
  4. Managing and updating a database for current and prospecting donors;
  5. Providing ongoing and timely donor reports and donor recognition;
  6. Grant management including drafting, editing and amending contracts, and filing;
  7. Coordination with HFH International Resource Development teams in support of initiatives as required by management;
  8. Other legitimate duties as required.

 

Communications

  1. Developing and executing HFH China’s annual communications and event plans to support resource development objectives;
  2. Creation of HFH China communications documents and publications (home partner stories, brochures and annual reports), website & multimedia information, etc.
  3. Managing day-to-day operations and monitoring social media platforms such as WeChat and Weibo;
  4. Coordination with HFH International Communications team to support communications programs and signature campaigns;
  5. Establishing and maintaining relationships with Shanghai and national media;
  6. Planning and implementing awareness-raising events;
  7. Other legitimate duties as required.
